Printer Settings

Configuring printer settings for each kiosk or POS station allows you to assign dedicated printers for printing receipts and reports. Each station can use its own printer(s), with customized settings such as paper margins, font family, font size, and print format.

Configuring Printers

To configure printers for a station, navigate to the Settings screen and click the Printer Settings button.

The Printer Settings screen allows you to configure two types of printers:

• Station Printer: Used to print custom receipts for the selected kiosk or POS station.
• Report Printer: Used to print reports in standard, full-page format.

To configure either printer, follow these steps:

1. Select the appropriate Station Printer or Report Printer tab.
2. Choose the printer you want to assign to the station from the printer dropdown list. All available printers will be displayed, and you must select one of the listed printers.

Station Printer Options

When configuring a Station Printer, you can customize the following settings:

• Port: Select the appropriate port if the receipt printer is connected directly to the station computer or cash drawer.
• Is Receipt Printer: Enable this checkbox to indicate that the selected printer is a receipt printer. This ensures the software formats the output appropriately for receipt printing.
• Font Family and Size: Click the Select Font button to choose the font family. You can also optionally enter a font size in the corresponding font size field.
• Printer Margins: Override the default printer margins configured under General Settings to better accommodate the selected printer.

Report Printer Options

The Report Printer provides the same customization options for font family, font size, and printer margins.

However, the Is Receipt Printer and Port options are not available for report printers, since reports are always printed using the standard full-page format.

Saving Your Changes

Once you have finished configuring the printer settings for the station, click the Save button to apply and save your changes.
