Email Server Setup
To configure the email server that the software will use to send emails to customers and deliver system-generated notifications related to your business operations, click the Email Server button on the Settings screen.
Supported Email Providers
The software comes with built-in integration support for several popular commercial email service providers, including:
- Brevo
- Mailjet
- Mailtrap
- Twilio
In addition to these supported providers, you can configure virtually any email service that supports SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) by selecting SMTP from the Email Provider Type dropdown menu.
Configuring Your Email Provider
Each email service provider has its own account registration process and configuration requirements. Depending on the provider, you may be required to obtain specific connection credentials, such as a server URL, API key, username, password, or secret key.
You must obtain these credentials directly from your chosen email service provider and enter them into the corresponding fields in the software.
Important: Agnitech does not provide technical support for registering, configuring, or managing email accounts with third-party email service providers. You are responsible for consulting the provider's documentation or contacting its technical support team to obtain the necessary configuration information and credentials.
Configuring a General SMTP Provider
If you choose the SMTP provider type, you can configure standard SMTP-based email services such as Gmail, Yahoo Mail, and other compatible email providers.
The configuration process is generally similar regardless of the provider. You will need to enter the information requested by the software, which may include:
- Email account name
- SMTP server address
- Username
- Password or application-specific password
- SMTP port number
- Other connection or authentication settings, if required
Please be aware that some email providers impose security restrictions that prevent external applications or third-party software from accessing their email services by default. You may need to enable SMTP access, generate an application-specific password, or adjust your account security settings before the software can successfully send emails.
Consult your email provider's documentation or technical support team for instructions on enabling third-party SMTP access and obtaining the correct connection settings.
Saving and Testing Your Configuration
Once you have selected your email provider type and entered all the required configuration information, click the OK button to save your settings.
After saving, we recommend sending a test email from within the software to verify that your email server configuration is correct and that the software can successfully connect to your email provider and deliver messages.
